Private beta
Privacy overview
This page describes the behavior of the current ZenDreamer private beta. A formal privacy policy with company and contact details will replace it before public distribution.
Local project data
Your projects, timeline edits, storyboard, downloaded AI media, and local job history remain on your computer unless you choose to move or share them.
Beta waitlist
If you join the beta waitlist, ZenDreamer stores your email address and, if you provide it, your name so we can manage your signup and contact you about beta access. Joining the list does not issue a license key or provide a download. You can ask us to remove your signup by contacting the ZenDreamer privacy team.
License checks
Activation and periodic license checks send a randomly created device identifier, the computer name, app version, and license proof to ZenDreamer's current license service. The server stores one-way hashes of the license key and device identifier together with activation timestamps and status. Project files, prompts, media, timeline data, and the fal.ai key are not sent for license verification.
AI provider data
When you start generation, the selected prompt, settings, and required source media are sent to fal.ai and the chosen model provider. Their terms and privacy practices apply to that processing.
Credentials
Your fal.ai key is handled by the privileged desktop process. Persistent storage on Windows uses operating-system encryption. The full key is not saved inside a ZenDreamer project or returned to the visible interface.
Diagnostics
The current beta keeps diagnostics local and does not start remote crash uploading or product telemetry. Structured logs redact credentials, prompts, scripts, local paths, and media details.
